Hola! This will be a short but long overdue post. Just to catch you (and ME!) up ;)
Here is the short verson, in case you’re a ‘skimmer’ like Bello. Blast you!
1. We moved! Yay!!!! To Watertown. It is pure BLISS here. Take my word for it. Watertown is where it’s at.
2. Since moving, I have been running sub-8 minute miles consistently. On my 4 mile runs. BOO-YEAH!!!!! Heh. I almost cried when I first started seeing 7:45 splits. Perhaps I’m just more at ease here in good ol’ Watertown? I have lots of races lined up now including the Falmouth Road Race, The Lone Gull 10k, the B.A.A Half Marathon, and the Cape Cod Marathon. I plan on killing all of these.
I have really been enjoying the warm, summery days. This time of year means a lot more long morning runs by the Charles River, grilling, sunning, beaching, hiking, sundress and flip-flop wearing, and outdoor dining and drinking with friends…

Myself in the middle with two beauties, Sanaa and my Sister Samantha dining outside at Stella in the South End after giving a City Wine Tour in the Back Bay. Immediately after our lovely drinks and dinner I lead a bachelortte wine tour!

Love, LOVE Stella. <3 I got this gorgeous salmon Caesar salad, a French 75 (or 2?? oops!), and a glass of Cortese (one of my absolute favorite white grape varietals).

The ladies shared the pasta Bolognese.
And not to back track or anything but after going through the massive amount of pictures on my phone (really good camera… but I need to make a habit out of using my real camera more often), I found this picture of the paleo Cake I made for Sam’s birthday in May. I used this recipe I found on Pinterest. And it is AMAZEBALLS. yeah, that’s right, used that word. Because this cake is so freaking good. I made a few changes to the recipe… well, they were more like additions. I made a mixture of raw almond butter, all-fruit strawberry preserves, raw honey, coconut sugar, and sea salt and swirled it into the center of the batter and I frosted the cake with a paleo frosting I concocted out of unsweetened chocolate, raw almond butter, coconut sugar, vanilla, coconut butter, and some honey. As amazing as it was, paleo baking is EXPENSIVE. Trust me on this one. $$$

Oh, and, WE MOVED!!!! To Watertown. Glorious, beautiful Watertown.

Ben and Bello.

We now have a deck overlooking our own yard!

And GRILL!!!!, and grow my herb garden…

A lovely spacious kitchen to entertain in too :D We have two parking spots, our own free washer and dryer and we are still SO close to the city. In fact, our commutes are shorter now. We have been running through Harvard Square and along the Charles River. So, so lovely. Perhaps all these things seem so simple… but they are all HUGE commodities in and around Boston.
We celebrated our first breakfast out after the move at The Breakfast Club. It was alright. Not as incredible as I anticipated it to be considering how much people gush over it. I actually much preferred the Deluxe Town Diner we ate at the weekend after. AWESOME stuff.

Me. Turkey bacon, egg whites, veggies, avocado, salsa… normal drill.

Bello. Regular bacon, eggs…. same old drill there too.
Obsessed with: Fucothin Protein Bars. Obsessed.

As well as Just Great Stuff Peanut Butter Powder… On rice cakes, in yogurt, mixed in with whipped cream or ice cream… mashed with bananas, baked into banana bread. So delicious. And so awesome I can now buy powdered peanut butter at Whole Foods rather than on-line. Awesome.

Breakfasts featuring Green Vibrance, Greek yogurt, puffed brown rice and PB Powder.

Lunches featuring rice cakes, cottage cheese, veggies, fruits and snacks consisting of Kombucha, protein bar bites, and sometimes cottage cheese with granola bar bits.

Grilling dinner with Kristy and Gary! I LOVE couple dates :D

Fish tacos with Greek yogurt avocado cream sauce made by me consumed by Bello. Mine were over salad.

Changing up my insanely delicious and addictive tofu chocolate mousse. I’ve added a gluten free cookie crust and sugar-free meringue made with Truvia. Soooo many YUMS.

Usual dinners of massive salads piled with sauteed greens and nowadays, GRILLED fish. I have really been digging huge local scallops grilled with Old Bay.

As usual, dinners are finished off with something sweet. That I usually put salt on. Because I’m addicted.

Ha. Don’t these look fake??? A sweet Robin family decided to shack up on my Grandparent’s deck in Middleboro. They have since hatched and are thriving beautifully. Beautiful <3
Cheers!
